Tucked away just off the main street, the Old Exchange was a delightful surprise during my recent trip; the location could not be more ideal for wandering into the heart of things. The twin room was wonderfully spacious, complete with a lovely carpeted floor and comfy beds, all adorned with fresh linen that made settling in a true pleasure. Our host was simply lovely, making us feel right at home, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean. One of my favourite moments was lounging in the gorgeous guest sitting room, where I spent hours reading with a view of the lively street below and enjoying a few lovely chats with one of the owners. Breakfast was a self-service affair in a bright room filled with fresh offerings-cereals, fruits, cold meats, and even a cheeky slice of cake to start the day! I'd wholeheartedly recommend the Old Exchange to anyone seeking not just comfort but a slice of the local charm. I'd happily return!
